considering at&t charges around $90 for their 450 minute plan with text and web, and tmobile charges $60 for their 500 text and web.
also android always has been able to tether, its called pdanet app
what advantages is there to have at&t android over tmobile android?
oh u can tether with at&t but they charge you 10$/month
What’s the song?
wonder if bluetooth will work with this sip voip? Will it divert audio to bluetooth? Siphon on Iphone cant work on bluetooth.
The app looks really cool, but I can’t make it work.
My SIP account works fine with SipAgent and Fring, but I don’t like Fring since it requires you to register in it’s network and SipAgent is horrible in it’s UI. What can I do to make Sipdroid work?
Just search “sipdroid” in AndroidMarket and enjoy…
Would loooove to have this app for my G1. Been testing SIP devices with WiFi on our IP-PBX at work.
Any idea when this might hit the market?
t-mobile listen up. ur all a bunch of idiots. open the uma and tether for capable phones.
don’t charge for uma. Gain market share you are the only company that has uma. I’d imagine it would free bandwidth for tower users since we all make a huge amount of calls from home where we all have wifi. and don’t even think we are going to buy that idiot product “say goodbye” Think long term market share and not short term revenue. the only reason i’m with is android. when att gets it i’m gone
Sweet! Just got a G1 and was worried there was no VOIP. This will be perfect for when I’m in Europe for the year! Thanks!
It works with the 1.1 and in the meantime with the 1.5 plattform)
Can’t wait!
I love t-mo but between VoIP and tethering, I have to be a rebel.
Will this work for un-rooted phones?
Hope you release soon
Compliments! 5 starts!
It’s very usefull! When i’ll have the G1/G2 this will be the first application to install.
Beta..
I’d be happy and delighted to be beta..
nice piece of work man!!
Thanls a lot! That would be sooner as you think;)
Oh man!!
Can’t wait!!
5 stars for sure…
10 when it’s in my phone and working
Thanks! The first release will be at the end of May , maybe a bit earlier. It’s pretty stable now but we want it to be as stable as two rocks)))
juuuuuuuuuuu
Cool! Waiting for release…
looks awesome man, when it will be released or some more info pls
t-mobile execs are idiots they are trying to block all of this progressive stuff to make money in the short term. They should open up uma for all capable phones. T-mobile is the only one that has it. They should not charge minutes or usage for it as it takes less resource for the tower users. making for a happier user everywhere. Think about it you idiots. most people call from home or work. they have one phone.
EXACTLY RIGHT – This IS *THE* Missing Link!
Do you know if Android permits this? I have the G1 through T-Mobile… I should fully read the T-Mobile contract (duh, lol)…
Guys you are rocking. This is the missing link. PLEASE keep on going.
voip on a phone is really cool. Do you think companies that offer 3G data plans would allow this? I know it isnt allowed on the iPhone, which is one of their SDK rules.
