This is a research project developed at the University of South Florida. VoIP phones are increasing in popularity. However, the energy consumed that derives in monetary costs and environmental impact has been of little or no study. Thus we present here a system that can enable IP phones to sleep for most of the time, given that they are used just for a small fraction of the time they currently remain on. Any questions or suggestions? please email me to: mjimeno at cse.usf.edu. You can also check my website: www.csee.usf.edu
